We have seen the world. Magnificent luxury homes in the world's most expensive and bustling places. Long-distance travel to other cultural environments where we didn't understand their way of being but inspired us. We have sampled food from the most diverse kitchens on earth. Our travels shape what we do. And that is how the SENSES Violett Suites in Zell am See came into being. The cornerstone is high above Lake Zell. The concept is a wonderfully sensual and authentically Alpine one.

What do we offer people who have already seen so much? Who know the grand hotels of history, which have been visited by imperial and royal couples? How interesting to travel to a time when the hot and cold water taps have a life of their own. Their favour mainly consists of a gentle trickle (at least the prices have been adapted to the present). Those who want to exchange environmentally friendly travel for sheer endless hours in the open air complete with lukewarm tomato juice on their trousers. People who are greeted by their first name in almost every airport hotel in the world due to connecting flights. All those who know the hideaways in the vineyards that even the best sat navs can't find, who pay the extra for a "continental breakfast" so they can eat the exact slices of bread from a different coloured plate (attention - will be randomly checked!). In the heart of the Austrian Alps

In the beginning, an idea was born. We wanted to create something entirely new with a clear concept. To welcome and embrace people from all over the world. Lake Zell, the surrounding mountain peaks and the beautiful landscape have shaped the SENSES Violett Suites in a wonderfully timeless way. Large glass fronts for natural light and incredible views of Lake Zell and the town. The finest quality materials from around the world have been used for unique pieces of furniture and beautiful natural materials as a connection to the local nature.

Zell am See is our adopted home. With international roots, we set out early to discover the world. We have travelled to distant countries, been inspired by a wide variety of cultures and - for us - settled in the most beautiful place in the world. We love to share this affinity with guests and have created a place of interaction and enjoyment.

We have minimised the furniture to the essentials. The appeal of simplicity, modern timelessness and the local natural materials of wood, stone and glass form the basis of the luxurious ambience. In modern times, people are often inundated with external influences and yearn for PURITY and REAL BEING. Standing barefoot on the wooden floor, breathing the crystal-clear mountain air, and gazing at Lake Zell. To have space and enjoy freedom. As inside, so outside.

Be free. Follow your own pace. We have created a place and many spaces where you can immerse yourself in silence. Or not. Rather than long queues for boiled eggs at the buffet, you'll find regional specialities in a cosy setting. Despite the love of children, there is also a place for adults only. The other days of the year belong to the children of the world.

The SENSES Violett Suites are also available exclusively! The entire house, including suites and breakfast rooms, can be booked for celebrations or company incentives. There is plenty of space and room for memorable celebrations and inspiring ideas!

The glacier area of Kitzsteinhorn, Lake Zell, the blooming of the flowers, the falling of the snow – become and be as one with nature amid alpine design in the LUXUS suites. The name has its origin in a source of happiness on earth, one’s own children – these LUXUS suites in the mountains of Zell am See are named after a daughter called VIOLETT. The colour VIOLET – the only spots of colour in a place of enjoyment, where loden and wood complement each other, to adapt modern design to an alpine setting.

Melting away guest’s occupational and every-day stresses is a top priority here, and for this reason we try to satisfy exclusively the needs of adults in the SENSES Violett Suites. We love children, but sometimes one wants to spend time among other adults.
